Meme Cassidy: Facebook

Yep. That's it I guess. Ah...Facebook isn't fun for me anymore. You know what I'm sayin'? I'm talking about my personal page, the one where I'm interacting with my friends and family and all that. I'm still active on my business pages: Jeff & Taylor and JFM Studios. Those are all good and dandy. It's just lately, I've been making less and less status updates. I guess it's maturity cuz I say to myself, "Do my friends really care what I did today or what I think of a certain subject?" Nah. I only just posted special announcements and drawings. I mean, back in the hay day I posted some random bullmerde status EVERYDAY! Complaining and crap. That all stopped a few years ago thankfully. But I see all my other friends doing it...complaining about stuff, weather, politics, kids, and all that junk. Like one of my buddies from high school...I remember he posted something like, "What's on my mind, Facebook? I want to know what the love of a woman feels like, that's what." I mean, come on, dude. God damn.

Hey, I'm not the only one who has to go through that. My situation is not special. So whatever, I'm not gonna be interacting or posting with my personal page again. I will be chatting with Messenger though. I MIGHT come back, but I won't be making promises. Like I said, posting statuses and sharing funny videos are pointless to me at the moment. If it ain't helping my cartooning career or anybody else, then I ain't interested.

Apologies for this rant. I just wanted to show off this Cassidy pic, and here I am trying to explain the meaning of this pic. Cass is fed up with Facebook too. Although I don't emphasize social media on J&T, because it will make the comic feel dated in the future. All right that's it. Let's see if I can squeeze in a Loud House drawing this weekend!
