Promo drawing for one of my stories, "Malice Mansion" (Working Title). It's about Elementary school kids killing each other. But why are they killing one another? And why do they have bloody noses and blood-shot eyes? Well, I don't know either. I'm still figuring out the story and plot twists. I won't start making this until it's perfect (and when J&T is done). THIS is just half of the main characters. Unlike my other comics, this will be a dark suspense/ thriller, but it won't be depressing. This idea may be controversial, but once you read it, you'll understand.
This bigger version looks even better. I have few questions about the comic. Are there any adult characters in it? Is this a supernatural story? How long is the comic and is it a series, shorter one-shot or a longer graphic novel? What inspires you to do this comic?
Hey, Thanks for the comment! Yes, there are adult characters that look after the kids. No, it's not supernatural. It WAS, but my new idea has to do with the psychology of these kids. I want it to be a bone-book graphic novel. Well, It's a long story on how this idea came about, but I was interested in making a horror story with kids in it. (Mainly because it's rarely seen). Over the years I got inspired by the Final Destination series, Resident Evil, Pink Floyd, When They Cry (it's an anime), Case Closed (another anime), Lord of the Flies, other music. And that's all I could think of. lol
That sounds so good! Psychology and horror go so well together and I think it's better you left out the supernatural stuff. Even though I have magic and all that junk in my comics, still, I feel it's kinda cheating. Everything's possible because of magic and supernatural, but when you take those off the table and try to do the unthinkable by using other more realistic ways - well, that takes talent. But no worries, I know you got it. With those inspirations the story can't be bad, I mean, Pink Floyd, Lord of the Flies, Conan and even the goddamn Higurashi. Man, you're cooking up some creepy horror goodness. Can't wait.
This is so creepy and cool at the same time.
